OMG I AM GETTING SUCKED INTO READING BABY NAME SITES
I love the name Kai and was delighted to find out it is a welsh name, as our Surname is Griffith.
Our new baby boy adopted from Vietnam will be named Kai.

Cai fab Cynyr was certainly Welsh, and did many brave deeds, and even the English remember him as Sir Kay of the Round Table. Why were you going to be Kai?

There isn't a language called Scottish. Do you mean Scots, where I believe the word for fire is "fire", or Scottish Gaelic, whose word for fire I believe to be "teine"?
